Fly Iowa Clarinda showcases outstanding entertainment, educational opportunities and aviation excellence in the air and on the ground. Experience the thrill of a free afternoon air show featuring iconic WWII fighters and bombers with a simulated battle brought to life by pyrotechnics. The explosions, fire balls and a massive "Wall of Fire", will not only be seen, but felt. This is an experience that will not be forgotten! Aircraft that are scheduled for the event include: Two P-51 Mustang fighters, Tuskegee Red Tail Mustang & "Gunfighter", and the B25 Bomber, "Miss Mitchell". Several high energy aerobatic performers ranging from a Micro Jet reminiscent of James Bond, to a pair of biplanes flying upside down and cutting a ribbon only feet above the runway; an engine out display of skill and energy management, skydivers, hot air balloons and more that will keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat. 10 a.m. Gates Open, 11 a.m. Food trucks and children's activities, Fly Iowa Air Show from 2-4:30 p.m. Mark your calendars to join us for an unforgettable event!
