Des Moines Symphony Holiday Brass Concert

Experience the Des Moines Symphony brass section like never before in our inaugural Holiday Brass Concert! Celebrate the sounds of the season with favorites like Joy to the World, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and more. Westminster Presbyterian's beautiful Dobson Pipe Organ will be prominently featured alongside timpani, percussion, and our powerful brass section. Don't miss your chance to experience this intimate, family-friendly holiday concert! Student Activity: Orgelkids Your entire family will enjoy our Holiday Brass concert! Students in grades 2-6 are invited to Orgelkids, a special event on Saturday, December 21 at 6:30 PM. Participants will learn how pipe organs function through the hands-on experience of assembling, and later playing, a working organ complete with pipes, keys and bellows!
