Be the Light Glow Walk

The Be the Light Glow Walk in Ottumwa is a vibrant, family-friendly evening event that brings the community together in a glowing celebration of hope, remembrance, and support. Participants light up the night with neon gear, glow sticks, and illuminated attire as they walk through a glowing course designed to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Whether you're walking in honor of a loved one or simply to spread positivity, this inspiring event is a powerful way to shine a light in the darkness. Pre-Glow Kick Off Begins at 6:30 PM with food trucks, mascots, and activities for the entire family! Glow Walk begins at 7:30 PM. 100% of proceeds from Be The Light are pledged towards mental health and suicide prevention projects in Wapello County.
