This outdoor experience will present both the science and the art of conservation. During this event, youngsters will be inspired to love, respect and protect our natural spaces through hands-on learning and creative programming. Children will build relationships with experts like master gardeners and scientists, and be empowered to take action themselves.
Children might learn about how to create a butterfly garden and about native pollinators from scientists and gardeners and take home seeds to begin their own butterfly garden. View a presentation by wildlife specialists on raptors, such as hawks, vultures or owls.
