The Estonian National Symphony Orchestra had its origins as a small radio orchestra in 1926. It has since grown to 100 musicians averaging more than 60 concerts each year and has become Estonia’s representative orchestra. The program will feature the powerful and poetic playing of Armenian cellist Narek Hakhnazaryan and is scheduled to include works by Estonian composers, such as VELJO TORMIS’s Overture No.2 , DVORÁK’s Cello Concerto in B minor, Op.104 and SIBELIUS’s Symphony No.5 in E-flat major, Op.82
