The Vermeer Windmill is the tallest working windmill in the United States. our Historical Village has more than 20 buildings including the boyhood home of Wyatt Earp, gristmill, general store and other historical buildings. Inside our interpretive center we have a miniature Dutch village featuring 90 different buildings modeled after the Netherlands in the 1860's. Our third attraction is our Scholte House Museum, which is the founder of Pella's home built in 1848.
