Pine needle basket weaving is the oldest known Native American crafts; Cherokee & other Southeast Indian baskets were traditionally made using bundled pine needles.
During this two-day course you will complete a basic pine needle basket and learn a basic stitch to create beautiful pine needle baskets of your own. This inexpensive process uses natural materials and can be utilized to make unique-looking baskets. All necessary materials for the completion of your first basket will be provided.
