Exploring the fascinating connections between music and literature, Music IC returns for three free concerts. This year’s festival includes music by Haydn, Respighi and Schubert, among others. Tolstoy’s novella The Kreutzer Sonata is the focus of a theatricalized performance of music by Beethoven and Janacek. Plus a family concert, hosted by the Iowa City Public Library, and lively discussions; it all happens in downtown Iowa City Where Music and Literature Meet.
