The University of Iowa Theatre Troupe will perform No Fish in the House at Brucemore at 5 p.m.
Led by legendary dramatist Tony Bologna, No Fish in the House is a mad-capped comedy in the Italian tradition of the commedia dell’arte. The comedy features four professional actors who play a variety of roles while wearing leather masks in the traditional commedia dell’arte style. Originally written for a young audience, the play is filled with slapstick humor and impromptu operations.
Hour-long show, free to the public. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Patrons may bring a picnic and beverages on site. Pets are not allowed. Parking is available on the grounds.
