Travel on a geode hunting exursion this fall to Keokuk.
Keokuk is well-known for its great abundance and variety of geodes. During this trip, participants will explore some of Keokuk’s unique geology and architecture, learn how to identify geodes, visit two privately-owned digging sites and have the opportunity to bring geodes home.
Fee is $120 if registered before August 1; $130 if registered by September 7. Fee covers transportation, hotel, three meals, snacks, guided tour, and ID pamphlet. Log on to www.storycountyiowa.gov/conservation to download a form or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
