Not just for paddlers, Larry Stone’s presentation offers an entertaining and thought-provoking look at the natural and cultural resources canoeists and visitors may experience along Iowa waterways. Learn how early explorers used rivers and what wildlife they encountered and ponder how rivers shaped our cities and farms.

Program has been funded by Humanities Iowa.

$7 fee for an optional lunch with pre-registration required by Friday, May 3. Menu includes meatball subs on 6" hoagies, chips, fresh fruit and cookies.

To register, call 515.232.2516 or email conservation@storycounty.com.
