Tuesday May 7, 2013 McFarland Park

Not just for paddlers, Larry Stone’s presentation offers an entertaining and thought-provoking look at the natural and cultural resources canoeists and visitors may experience along Iowa waterways. Learn how early explorers used rivers and what wildlife they encountered and ponder how rivers shaped our cities and farms.

Program has been funded by Humanities Iowa.
