If you use a longbow or recurve you may have an interest in joining Gene Winter as he teaches you how to build traditional cedar arrows. Students will learn about selecting wood; dipping, cresting and tapering the shafts; chopping and adhering the fletchings; and nock placement and cutting. Each student will build three arrows but will have the knowledge to build many more arrows in the future. Gene will have additional supplies with him for sale to meet your future arrow building and traditional archery needs. 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
