Watch eagles soar over the river valley, or enjoy the flocks of migrating water fowl each spring and fall. Take in nearby golfing, camping, swimming, boating, canoeing, fishing and shopping. Drive the Loess Hills Scenic Byway, or make an appointment to tour Akron's historic Opera House and the Akron Area Museum. Akron's inviting trail system includes The Big Sioux River Trail, the paved City Trail, and the 4.5-mile Prairie Trail, which winds through woods, prairie and bluffs.
