Spiced Cranberry Punch
Tassel Ridge Winery

1 bottle Tassel Ridge Cranberry Wine
24 oz. apple cider
1/4 to 1/2 cup granulated sugar (depending on how sweet you want the drink)
3 cinnamon sticks
5 whole cloves

Combine all ingredients in a crockpot and brew for 2 to 3 hours on low. Serve in mugs.

 

Roasted Russian
SingleSpeed Brewing Company

8 oz. Roasted (SingleSpeed's oatmeal stout)
1 1/2 oz. Cedar Ridge Clearheart Vodka
1 1/2 oz. half & half
1 oz. Agave nectar

Drop a couple ice cubes into a shaker with the vodka and agave nectar. Shake and strain into a 16 oz. tulip two-thirds full of ice. Fill glass with remaining ingredients, gently stir and serve.

 

Mulled Apple & Cranberry Wine
Old Bank Winery

1/2 gallon clear apple juice
1 bottle Cranberry Wine
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
8 whole cloves
8 allspice
Orange slices

In a large crockpot, combine ingredients (put cloves and allspice in a mesh bag). Heat mixture just to boiling and then turn heat to low. Add 6 or more orange slices and simmer for one hour. Serve warm.

 

Redneck Bloody Mary
La Vida Loca Winery

1 part tomato or clamato juice
2 parts beer
1 oz. (or to taste) La Vida Loca Jalapeno Wine

Mix ingredients and pour over ice.

 

Apple Pie

1 part La Vida Loca Apple Wine
1 part La Vida Loca Cinnamon Wine

Serve warm on a cold night.

 

Apple and Wine Glogi
99 Bottles

2 1/4 cup apple cider
6 T honey
2 cinnamon sticks (or 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon)
1 vanilla bean, split (or 1 tsp. vanilla extract)
1 pinch chili powder
1 T fresh orange juice
1 liter of 99 Bottles Edelweiss
Orange zest, cut into spirals

Combine cider, honey, cinnamon and vanilla in a large saucepan. Heat until boiling. Add wine, orange juice and chili powder and heat until warm - do not boil. Pour into your favorite mugs and garnish with orange zest. Drink and be merry!

 

Sparkling Wine
99 Bottles

1/2 c. 99 Bottles Apple Wine
1/2 c. orange juice*
1/4 c. sparkling water, club soda or seltzer*
Freshly cracked black pepper

Combine all ingredients and add pepper (not too much, just a dusting). Serve over ice and garnish with orange zest (if you're feeling fancy!).

*Orange juice and sparkling water combination can be substituted with San Pellegrino Aranciata or the harder-to-find Orangina soda.

 

Heartland Wassail
Heartland Harvest Winery

2 cans of frozen orange juice
1 can frozen lemonade
1/4 lb. white raisins
2 1/2 tsp. whole cloves
5 cinnamon sticks
2 qts. apple juice
1 1/4 lb. sugar or brown sugar
5 cups water
2 bottles Heartland Blueberry Wine

Combine ingredients (except raisins, spices and wine) in a 6 quart kettle. Add spices and raisins tied in a cheesecloth. Simmer half an hour. Let stand with spices for at least one hour. Remove spices, add wine and heat.

 

Harvest Mulled Wine

1 bottle Heartland St. Vincent White
1 peeled and sliced orange (keep peel to add zest)
1/4 cup Heartland Apple Wine
8-10 whole cloves
3 cinnamon sticks
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp. ground allspice

Combine ingredients ingredients in a large slow cooker. Gently warm ingredients on low to medium heat (do not boil) for 20-25 minutes. Stir occasionally to make sure sugar dissolves completely. Serve warm, leaving spices behind.

 

Blanc de Blanc Cocktail

Sugar cube
Bitters
Cedar Ridge Blanc de Blanc
Lemon twist

Add sugar cub to a glass with a few dashes of bitters to dissolve sugar. Top with Cedar Ridge Blanc de Blanc, a sparkling white wine. Garnish with a lemon twist.

 

Horseshoe Float
Cedar Ridge Winery

2 oz. Griff's Cowboy Whiskey
1 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. simple syrup
1 oz. Cedar Ridge Five Seasons Wine

Shake first three ingredients and pour over ice. Float the Cedar Ridge Five Seasons red wine on top.

 

Strawberry Peach Sangria

1 bottle Fireside GLOW
2 oz. peach schnapps
2 oz. club soda
Sliced peaches and strawberries

Mix ingredients allow to soak overnight to bring out the flavor. Serve cold and enjoy!

 

John Ernest Cranberry Spritzer

1 bottle John Ernest Cranberry Wine
2 cups pineapple juice (optional)
2 cans Sierra Mist
Fresh fruit, such as strawberries

Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher, stirring well. Serve chilled or over ice.

 

John Ernest Red Sangria
John Ernest Vineyard & Winery

1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/3 cup sugar
1 bottle John Ernest Merlot
1 small orange, sliced
1 lemon, sliced

Combine first three ingredients in a large pitcher, stirring until sugar dissolves. Add wine, orange and lemon slices. Stir gently.

 

John Ernest White Sangria

1 bottle John Ernest Dusty Road White Wine
1 lemon, sliced
1 lime, sliced
1/2 Red Delicious apple, sliced
1/4 cup sugar
2 cans Sprite or Sierra Mist
1 cup green grapes (frozen)

Combine first five ingredients in a large pitcher, stir well. Chill at least two hours. Gently stir in chilled soda and frozen grapes before serving.

 

Frankerovka

12 oz. Big Frank Moravian Ale
Half shot of Becherovka, Czech herbal liquor

Pour ale into a glass and add Becherovka, stir.

 

Beer & Absinthe (As Yet Unnamed!)

Absinthe
1 bottle White Water Wheat Hefeweizen

Coat the walls of a shot glass with Absinthe (a little goes a long way). Rinse the shot glass a couple times with the hefeweizen and pour into a 12 oz. glass. Top off the glass with the rest of the beer. Prepare for the unique flavors of summer with a hint of licorice.

 

Holiday Spice Drink 2013

1 bottle Storybook Sweet Red Wine or Raceway Red Wine
1/2 bottle of apple juice
1/2 bottle of red or white grape juice

Follow the directions on the mulling spices bag and add the remaining ingredients.
