Iowa Tourism Grant Program
The purpose of the Iowa Tourism Grant Program is to promote tourism in Iowa by funding tourism-related marketing initiatives and meetings, events and professional development efforts that benefit both local economies around the state and the state's economy.
Applicants must be a tourism-related entity based in Iowa, including a nonprofit or for-profit organization, city, county, or regional goverment or planning organization.
ITG awards range from $500 to $5,000 and require a 25% cash match.
Expenses must directly relate to the implementation of a tourism-related marketing, event, or professional development project and be incurred during the fiscal year in which funding is being requested.

If you are interested in joining the Review Committee to review and score ITG applications, please contact Nicole Shalla. Reviewers will not review applications in the category in which they submitted applications. Where possible, reviewers will not review applications from his/her own county.
June 1: Application available at www.iowagrants.gov
July 13: Applications due by 4:30 p.m.
July 22 - August 12: Review Committee reviews and scores applications
August 14: Review Committee meets to determine successful grantees
August 21: Grantees announced
Recipients of Iowa Tourism Grants must use the Travel Iowa language and logos to credit the Iowa Tourism Office for their cooperative efforts.
