Co-op Partnership Program
Annually, the Iowa Tourism Office invests more than $500,000 in its Cooperative Partnership Program, negotiating the purchase of large advertising buys and then selling that space back to our tourism partners at a cost far cheaper than what they could purchase directly.
In addition, the Cooperative Partnership Program allows the Iowa Tourism Office to diversify its audience and gives the industry a range of advertising choices - from group travel to boomer to meetings-focused publications and niche web sites. The program truly is a public/private partnership that extends the reach of Iowa's travel message and gives the tourism industry a chance to be a part of Iowa's broader marketing efforts.
ABD Truck Wrap Co-op

The Iowa Tourism Office is seeking nine participants for a partnership to wrap trucks of the Iowa Alcoholic Beverages Division (ABD). One side of the truck will feature the partner and the other side of the truck and back will be branded with Travel Iowa.
These trucks travel year round across Iowa delivering spirits to grocery, convenience and liquor stores. They are typically on the road four days a week for 10-14 hours per day. No truck has a set route; routes changes based on the delivery.
There are seven 53' trucks and two 48' trucks available for wrapping. Only one truck will be available per partner and the cost for the wrap is $2,500, regardless of size. Partners are required to provide the appropriate, professionally created art files.
Art dimensions will be provided when your reservation is confirmed. For these large graphics, files should be designed at 1/10th scale wtih 720 dpi resolution as a minimum guideline. Files should be CMYK. Illustrator, Photoshop, PDF and EPS files are acceptable.
Reservations will be accepted on a first-come basis beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10. The sign-up form will be posted here and be available until all nine trucks have been reserved. If you arrive at the page before the link is available, remember to refresh your page so the link will appear when it is posted.
The first seven reservations will be assigned a 53' truck and the next two will be assigned a 48' truck. Colleen Murphy will notify partners who have secured a truck and will then provide the truck dimensions. There will be no penalty for cancellations made before December 23. Partners who cancel after December 23 will pay a $1,250 cancellation fee.
Artwork will be due Friday, January 16, 2015. We anticipate that the trucks will be wrapped and on the road by March 1, 2015. The trucks will remain wrapped for approximately 18 months from the first day the truck is on the road.

There is no penalty for co-op cancellations before September 1. Cancellations between September 1 and December 1 require the partner to pay 50% of the ad costs they had committed to. After December 1, no refunds will be given.
