Dakins Lake Park

Located just off Highway 65, Dakins Lake offers a 103-acre park with a mix of remnant and restored prairie, successional timber, and 2 miles of scenic trails. Anglers will enjoy fishing (including ice fishing!) in the park’s two lakes, covering 20 acres of open water home to bass, bluegill and channel catfish. The quiet park features kayak rentals, hiking, camping and a natural playscape. Dakins Lake offers two campgrounds, including both modern and tent-only sites, and a covered picnic area to provide relief from the sun.
