Harlan Friends of Downtown invite you to enjoy outdoor daily music and nightly rooftop lighting shows while shopping, dining, and seeing the latest movie. Our Historic Downtown Harlan Courthouse Square has something for everyone and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Spend the day and take the Historical Walking Tour of Harlan. Holiday Open House and Recipe Walk held every year in early November. Lighting of Shelby County Christmas Tree held every year the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
