Outdoor Adventures & Exciting Eateries
Discover outdoor adventures galore. Explore the trails, observation tower, scenery and wildlife areas at Pilot Knob State Park, which was one of Iowa's first state parks. When the weather is warm, cool off at the Forest City Family Aquatic Center or paddle the Winnebago River Water Trail. Or spend a day exploring the community's golf course, 21-hole disc golf course, playgrounds, tennis and pickleball courts and more.

After getting your nature fix, take a break at one of the community's many restaurants. Get your coffee fix at Cabin Coffee or try a protein shake and refreshing teas at Every Day Nutrition. Or enjoy chips & queso (and more) at Ay Jalisco; try the delicious Chinese cuisine at Golden Chopsticks; feast on home-cooked meals at Sally's; or sit down to classic burgers and pizza at Shooterz. For a sweet treat, swing by Sweet Emmylu's
